Historic Ceramic Plate Decorating with Jennifer Perren

This 3-hour workshop allows participants to decorate two 6" plates, each plate with a different historical technique (transfer and hand-painted) that replicates the 19th century blue and white pottery found in Arkansas. 

Jennifer Perren is an artist working in Little Rock. In 2014, she received her BFA with an emphasis in printmaking from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. When Perren began working in clay in 2017, she combined the material with her passion for the figurative art. Anthropomorphic pottery is now the heart of her studio practice. Presently, she teaches ceramics at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Art.  

This is a half-day workshop; no lunch will be provided. Minimum age for participation is 16.
