This event is no longer on sale.

Thursday November 12

4:00 PM  –  9:00 PM

2020 History is Served explores cultures, communities, and cuisine of the Arkansas Delta. The last in our series takes a look at the Jewish communities that settled in the Arkansas Delta in the 19th century. Chefs Capi Peck and Shanna Merriweather will create a meal with traditional Jewish dishes put together for a modern audience, available as curbside pick up at Trio’s

Later in the evening, the museum will host a Zoom program featuring University of North Carolina professor Marcie Cohen Ferris, author of Matzoh Ball Gumbo and editor of Jewish Roots in Southern Soil, and former HAMF President and former Temple B’Nai Israel President, Leah Elenzweig.

Thank you to our sponsors: Arkansas Rice Federation, Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, and the Historic Arkansas Museum Foundation.
